Danny and Elaine fell in love with the mountains while attending Appalachian State University in the seventies. They are both originally from other parts of North Carolina. Danny and Elaine knew the beautiful surroundings and the supportive mountain community of Boone would be a great place to grow a family and business.
Danny has been in the building business for over thirty years. He was an accomplished timber framer and architectural woodworker for 20 years before becoming a licensed general contractor. Danny has a broad based knowledge of all aspects of construction, and he prides himself on being a "hands on" contractor.
When Danny's long time business partner relocated to Montana twelve years ago, Elaine joined the business. Together, Danny and Elaine continue a tradition of building quality custom homes. In recent years, they have expanded their definition of quality to include sustainable, high performance building practices.
